Ep 10. Perfect Physical Specimen

The episode starts off with Jimmy and Ravi heading to the gym in order to impress some ladies. When Jimmy arrives, he encounters some stiff competition in the form of a jacked-up college student named Hunter. Despite his age, Jimmy is able to hold his own against Hunter during a physical challenge, impressing the women present. However, he develops a hernia during the challenge and is rushed to the hospital for surgery.

While Jimmy is recovering, Sara decides to set up a "gym group" with Ravi and Edie in order to help Edie shed some baby weight. Jimmy, still in recovery, is skeptical about the group and feels left out. He turns to Gerald for comfort, but Gerald is busy with his new girlfriend and doesn't have time for him. Jimmy becomes increasingly depressed and decides to get back in shape in order to prove to himself and others that he's still young at heart.

Despite Ravi's protests, Jimmy starts a strict exercise regimen and diet plan, and begins taking supplements that Hunter recommended to him. His behavior becomes obsessive and he starts to push himself too hard, causing concern for Ravi and Edie who fear his health is at risk.

Meanwhile, Sara is dealing with her own self-esteem issues after a pushy mommy group member makes her feel inadequate for being a working mother. She confides in Annelise, who encourages her to stand up for herself and not give in to peer pressure.

As Jimmy's obsession with fitness continues, he inadvertently becomes a role model for a group of elderly patients at the hospital who are struggling with their own health issues. He starts to see the importance of balance in life and the importance of taking care of oneself in a healthy way.

The episode ends with Jimmy coming to terms with his age and the fact that he doesn't need to prove anything to anyone. He joins Sara and the gym group for a moderate workout and everyone is happy to be together, laughing and enjoying each other's company.
