Ep 20. Sing It Again

In season 16, episode 20 of Grey's Anatomy, titled "Sing It Again," the doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital are faced with challenging situations both inside and outside of the operating room. As the episode begins, viewers find out that Catherine Fox, the hospital's foundation director, has returned from a trip to New York City and appears to be experiencing some sort of medical issue. Despite her attempts to downplay her symptoms, Dr. Amelia Shepherd finds a spot on her brain during a CT scan.

Dr. Webber is determined to not let the mistake happen twice, but his nerves get the best of him and he begins to doubt his abilities as a surgeon.

In another storyline, Dr. Miranda Bailey is dealing with the aftermath of her son Tuck getting caught with a vape pen at school. She and her husband Ben (who also happens to be a firefighter) are trying to figure out how to discipline him and ensure that he understands the dangers of vaping. As the episode progresses, viewers see how Bailey's parenting struggles are weighing on her, causing her to lash out at others and make risky decisions in the OR.

The episode also focuses on the budding romance between Dr. Hayes and Dr. Meredith Grey. The two of them share a bit of banter and flirtation throughout the episode, and viewers are left wondering whether they'll finally make a move on each other or if they'll continue to dance around their feelings.

As always, there are plenty of medical cases for the doctors to tackle in "Sing It Again." One patient comes in with a gunshot wound and needs emergency surgery, while another requires a delicate brain operation. Dr. Alex Karev, who has been absent from the last few episodes, returns and takes on a case involving a woman with a rare medical condition that has left her with constant, unbearable pain.

Overall, "Sing It Again" is an intense episode of Grey's Anatomy that has viewers on the edge of their seats as they watch the doctors navigate through a variety of complex medical cases. There are plenty of emotional moments as well, as the characters deal with their own personal issues and struggles. As the season draws to a close, it's clear that the stakes are higher than ever at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.
