Throughout the episode, we see the doctors racing against the clock to save the lives of the ferry accident victims. There are several intense surgical scenes, including one where a patient's leg has to be amputated. We also get a glimpse into the personal lives of the doctors, as they each deal with their own dramas and struggles.
One of the standout moments of the episode is when Dr. Hunt, a former army surgeon, takes charge of a patient who has suffered severe burns. Dr. Hunt's military background allows him to approach the patient's treatment in a unique way, and we see him use some unconventional methods to try and save the patient's life.
Overall, "Rise Up" is a dramatic and emotional episode that showcases the strengths of the Grey's Anatomy cast.
