Ep 7. Episode 7

In Gu Family Book season 1 episode 7, titled "Episode 7," Kang-chi is chased by soldiers who believe he is a demon. Meanwhile, the woman who saved Kang-chi's life in the previous episode is revealed to be the daughter of a wealthy nobleman named Jo Gwan-woong. When Jo Gwan-woong learns that his daughter has been associating with a half-human, half-animal creature, he becomes enraged and vows to capture Kang-chi.

As Kang-chi tries to flee from the soldiers, he encounters Dam Yeo-wool, a skilled martial artist who has been sent by her father to retrieve a sacred scroll. Dam Yeo-wool mistakes Kang-chi for a thief and attacks him, but Kang-chi easily overpowers her. The two become friends when Kang-chi helps her retrieve the scroll and return it to her father.

Meanwhile, Jo Gwan-woong has enlisted the help of a group of assassins to capture Kang-chi. The assassins, led by a man named Tae-seo, ambush Kang-chi and Dam Yeo-wool while they are resting at an inn. During the ensuing fight, Kang-chi loses control of his animal instincts and transforms into a beast. Dam Yeo-wool is shocked and afraid, but Kang-chi manages to regain his human form and defeat the assassins.

After the fight, Kang-chi tells Dam Yeo-wool about his tragic past and how he came to be a half-human, half-animal creature. Moved by his story, Dam Yeo-wool offers to help Kang-chi find the mystical Gu Family Book, a legendary tome that is said to hold the secret to becoming fully human.

The episode ends with Kang-chi and Dam Yeo-wool setting off on their quest to find the Gu Family Book, unaware of the dangers that await them. As they walk into the distance, the camera zooms out to reveal Jo Gwan-woong watching them from a nearby rooftop, his sinister intentions clear.

Overall, Gu Family Book season 1 episode 7 is an exciting and action-packed episode that advances the plot and introduces new characters.
