Guess with Jess is a fun, educational show for preschoolers that follows the adventures of Jess, a curious little cat, and his animal friends as they explore the world around them and learn about science, nature, and problem-solving. In the 16th episode of the first season, viewers get to join Jess and his friends on two exciting adventures that teach them about bugs and birds.

The first adventure is all about ladybugs. When Jess and his friends notice that there are a lot of ladybugs around, they start to wonder why. They decide to do some investigating and learn all about the fascinating world of ladybugs. They discover that ladybugs are actually a type of beetle, and that they are very important for the environment because they eat other pests that can harm crops and gardens. Jess and his friends also learn about the lifecycle of ladybugs, from eggs to larvae to adult beetles.

As they explore, Jess and his friends notice that some ladybugs have spots and some have stripes. They wonder if there is a reason for this, so they do some more investigating. They learn that the different colors and patterns on ladybugs help to protect them from predators. Some ladybugs have bright colors to warn predators that they taste bad or are poisonous, while others have patterns that make them blend in with their surroundings. Jess and his friends have a lot of fun discovering all of these fascinating facts about ladybugs, and they come away with a new appreciation for these helpful little beetles.

The second adventure in this episode is all about little birds and the seeds they love to eat. Jess and his friends notice that some of the seeds they plant in the garden keep getting eaten by a little bird. They come up with a plan to try to keep the bird away, but it doesn't work. So they decide to do some investigating to find out why the bird likes the seeds so much and how they can stop it from eating them.

With the help of their friend Horace the mole, Jess and his friends dig a tunnel underground to spy on the bird from below. They watch as the bird comes and goes, and they realize that it is not eating the seeds to be mean, but because it needs the seeds to survive. They learn that the bird needs a lot of energy to fly, and that eating seeds is one of the best ways for it to get that energy. So Jess and his friends come up with a new plan to help the bird and still protect their seeds.

They build a special bird feeder that looks like a flower, and they fill it with seeds. The little bird is attracted to the feeder, and it starts to eat from it instead of the garden. Jess and his friends are happy because they are able to help the bird, and they still get to enjoy their garden without it being destroyed.

Overall, this episode of Guess with Jess is full of fun, educational adventures that teach preschoolers about bugs, birds, and problem solving. With its colorful animation, catchy songs, and lovable characters, this show is perfect for young children who want to explore the world around them and learn about science and nature in a fun and engaging way.
