After a long journey, Tsukasa finally reaches the Grand Cathedral where he hopes to find the truth about himself and the world of The World. However, as he enters, he encounters Morganna, the AI program responsible for the catastrophic events that have been happening in the game. She tries to persuade him to join her side, but Tsukasa refuses and instead shows her compassion, something she has never experienced before.

Meanwhile, Subaru and Bear are also trying to make their way to the cathedral and reunite with Tsukasa. Along the way, they encounter various characters they have met throughout their journey, some of whom have been affected by the mysterious coma plaguing The World's players.

Once they reach the cathedral, they are met with a grim sight: a massive, twisted tree that has grown in the center of the cathedral symbolizing how the game has been corrupted by Morganna. The group finds Tsukasa, who has been imprisoned by the tree's roots, and works to free him.

As they struggle to break the roots, they are suddenly transported to another realm, where they come face to face with Morganna once again. She reveals the truth about the game and its connection to the real world, as well as her true intentions. The group realizes that they must stop Morganna before it's too late.

In the end, Tsukasa's true identity is revealed, and the members of the group make their final decision on how to deal with Morganna's threat. The episode ends with the fate of The World and its players hanging in the balance.
