As the days go by, Gary's behavior worsens. He takes long lunches, shows up late to meetings and ignores Mona's requests. Mona realizes that she made a mistake in hiring him and decides to let him go. Despite her initial reluctance, she feels relieved to be rid of the burden.

Dee Dee, on the other hand, gets a second chance at the radio station. She is asked to fill in for another host and impresses the station manager with her skills. He offers her a full-time job as a host and Dee Dee is overjoyed.

The episode ends with Mona and Dee Dee celebrating their victories. Mona feels empowered by her decision to let Gary go and Dee Dee is excited about her new job. The sisters realize that, with a little determination, they can achieve anything they set their minds to.
