Hard Parts: South Bronx is a reality television series that focuses on an auto parts business. Joe Ferrer is a Bronx business owner who runs a company specializing in finding rare auto parts for car enthusiasts to looking to update their rides. Joe and his team are all strong with tough personalities so they know how to deal with the rough automotive industry in the South Bronx. Joe's crew goes all around New York City to find rare auto parts for their customers. Many of their customers are wealthy and can afford these rare parts. They can also afford to be incredibly demanding. Joe, in particular, is known for his tough guy attitude. His father Nick started the family business and Joe does his best to make his father proud. He also faces a lot of stress from his home life with his wife and three children taking up a lot of his time. Hector takes care of inventory for the shop. He is always getting in trouble with Joe, but he does a good job of keeping the business running smoothly. James originally started in the company warehouse, but he is such a hard worker that Joe has grown to respect him, and he is quickly rising in the company. James has a bad temper as well but that is not necessarily a bad thing in Joe's eyes. Persaud handles the company's finances, and he is one of Joe's most trusted employees. He handles all the invoices as well and is one of the guys that does customer relations. He has worked for Joe for a very long time, and Joe trusts him completely. Richie is Joe's right hand man and seems to know everything about the auto parts business. The automotive business in New York is surprisingly cutthroat with a lot of people trying to pass off stolen cars as their legitimately owned vehicles. Through it all, the men work together to keep their customers happy and their business thriving.
