This is a reality television; game show all in one. The show PINKS brings back the era activity of drag racing; however, in a manner much more organized. There is a track and it is much safer than dropping an engine in a beater and taking off down a dirt road; against your opponent. There is a show host and then there are the contestants. It can be summed up as: If you lose the car race; you also lose your mode of transportation. The contestants too: are pitted against each other in way of best two out of three; wherein the person who does not succeed in winning must hand over his or her car's title to the person who proves victorious. In earlier days: the title was referred to as the car's Pink Slip - the show's name is derived from this bit of trivia or history. The rules of the game are simple: Two automobiles show up at the track. The drivers negotiate amongst one another head start distances. The cars line up - the flag is dropped.
