Ep 10. Hairdos & Holidays

After a long break, "Hart of Dixie" is back with an exciting new episode, "Hairdos & Holidays."

The episode starts off with the charming southern town of Bluebell, Alabama gearing up for the holidays. This time of year is always one of the most festive and exciting, and this year is no exception. As everyone gets busy with the holiday preparations, Zoe Hart, the protagonist of the show, is trying her best to figure out how to make the best of her holidays.

Zoe, a New York doctor who relocated to Bluebell after inheriting half of her deceased father’s practice, is new to the southern town and its holiday traditions. This year, she decides to go all out and show her love for her new home by participating in the town's annual 'Holiday Extravaganza'.

In the meantime, Zoe's boyfriend, Wade, and his band also make their plans for the holidays. They plan to record a demo tape for their band in the hope of getting discovered and becoming famous. Unfortunately for them, their plan goes awry, and they are faced with some unexpected obstacles.

Elsewhere, Lemon Breeland, the charming belle of the town, is in charge of organizing the 'Holiday Extravaganza.' She enlists the help of her best friend, Annabeth, and the two of them get busy planning the event.

However, the two friends soon find themselves at odds with each other when they disagree on the plans for the holiday affair. The tension between the two is only made worse when Annabeth's ex-boyfriend, Jake, shows up in town.

Tensions and competition come to a head when the town's two hairdressers, Alice and Zoe's friend, Lily Anne, get into a feud over who should be in charge of doing everyone's hair for the Extravaganza. They both want all the business and decide to vie for the loyalty of the townspeople and their hair.

With the holiday event drawing near, Zoe finds herself in a dilemma when she learns that Lavon, the mayor of the town, is a good basketball player, but does not have a date for the holiday event. Being the good-natured person that she is, Zoe volunteers to be his companion for the occasion.

As the night of the Extravaganza arrives, everyone in the town comes together to celebrate the holiday spirit. The event kicks off with a parade, followed by a talent show, dance contest, and a fashion showdown. People from all walks of life come together and put on a great show, showcasing their unique talents and skills.

Eventually, Zoe's plans change when she discovers something about her companion, Lavon, that makes her feel like she should withdraw from the event. Zoe soon finds herself caught up in a series of unexpected events that guide her towards a better understanding of the people of Bluebell, and herself.

Overall, 'Hairdos & Holidays' is an excellent holiday episode that brings together all the elements that make Hart of Dixie such an enjoyable show. The episode blends drama, romance, humor, and festive cheer together seamlessly to create an entertaining, heartwarming experience for the viewers.
