Zoe is on her way to meet Joel at the airport, but before she gets there, she receives a text message from him stating that he has chosen to stay in Los Angeles for a little longer to spend more time with his family. Back in BlueBell, Lemon is shocked to discover that her estranged mother, Brick's ex-wife Alice Breeland, has returned to town to attend the Cricket Club's annual fashion show. Meanwhile, Lavon tries everything he can think of to get Annabeth's attention, but she is distracted by a handsome stranger in town. Elsewhere, George and Lynly's connection continues to grow, but George is still hesitant about taking things to the next level.
