This is an 11-episode series of specials which takes well-known, beloved children's stories and animates them in a way that reflects the look and feel of the original. Producers have also incorporated new musical selections from well-known songwriters, which gives the specials a new, energetic chemistry. Some of the books highlighted in the series included "The Tale of Peter Rabbit," narrated by Carol Burnett, "Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile," narrated by Tony Randall, Hans Christian Anderson's "The Red Shoes," narrated by Ozzie Davis and Robert Klein's narration of "Mike Mulligan and his Steam Shovel."
