Bat Flap Fever / Thumb and Thumber - Hotel Transylvania season 1 episode 15:
In "Bat Flap Fever," a bat colony visits the hotel and Mavis falls for a charming bat named Hank. However, when Dracula discovers that the colony has brought a dangerous virus with them, he must find a way to keep the guests safe without driving away his daughter's new love interest.
Meanwhile, in "Thumb and Thumber," Johnny accidentally breaks one of Mavis' thumbs and must find a way to fix it before Dracula finds out and blames him for the mishap. With the help of Frankenstein, Johnny attempts to create a replacement thumb using various objects around the hotel, but things quickly spiral out of control.
Throughout the episode, we see the usual antics and hijinks that we've come to expect from the characters of Hotel Transylvania. Dracula is as overprotective as ever when it comes to Mavis, and we see his vulnerability when he realizes that he might not be able to protect her from every danger that comes their way. However, we also see his softer side as he learns to let go and trust his daughter to make her own decisions.
Mavis, meanwhile, is as headstrong and independent as ever, but we also see her vulnerable side as she falls for Hank and wonders if he could ever accept her for who she truly is - a half-human, half-vampire hybrid. Johnny is his usual clumsy self, but we see his resourcefulness and determination as he attempts to fix Mavis' thumb and save himself from Dracula's wrath.
As always, the animation is bright and colorful, with plenty of sight gags and fast-paced action to keep young viewers entertained. The voice acting is top-notch, with Selena Gomez bringing a spunky energy to the role of Mavis and Adam Sandler delivering the perfect blend of humor and heart as Dracula.
Overall, "Bat Flap Fever" and "Thumb and Thumber" are two fun-filled adventures that will delight fans of Hotel Transylvania and introduce new viewers to the zany world of monsters and mayhem.
