Parisians Paul and Marylou have made the decision to move south to Toulouse, France, to find a more relaxed and affordable lifestyle. With three children and a budget of €800,000, they hope to find a spacious home with a large garden in the suburbs of Toulouse.
In the first property, they view a beautiful villa with a large garden and swimming pool, which seems to tick all the boxes. However, the price is slightly over budget, and the location is not ideal.
The second property is located in the charming town of L'Union and appears to be a great compromise with plenty of space and an excellent location. The price is within their budget, but the pool is significantly smaller than they would prefer.
Next, they view a striking and grand property which has the space they need for their family, but they are somewhat concerned about the maintenance of such a large house. At €880,000, it is also over budget.
Finally, they are shown a charming property located on a wine estate that offers plenty of space to entertain family and friends. While the price is within their budget, the property is in need of some renovation work.
With each property offering different advantages and disadvantages, it's up to Paul and Marylou to decide what they are willing to compromise on to find their dream home in Toulouse.
