In this episode of House Hunters International, a newly engaged couple from Canada searches for a new home in sunny Brisbane, Australia. The couple, Michael and Carolyn, are excited to start their new life together in a new city, but are struggling to find the perfect home that meets both of their needs.
Michael is an avid skateboarder and wants a home close to the city center with easy access to skate parks and other outdoor recreation areas. Carolyn, on the other hand, is looking for a quiet suburban home with plenty of space for them to start a family in the future.
The search begins with a tour of a modern apartment close to the city center. While it meets Michael’s desire for proximity to city life and outdoor activities, Carolyn feels that the small space wouldn’t be conducive to starting a family.
Their second option is a spacious home in the suburbs, complete with a backyard and plenty of bedrooms. While it meets Carolyn’s needs, Michael is concerned that the commute to the city for work and access to his hobbies would be too long.
Their real estate agent suggests a compromise, a home in a quiet suburb just outside of the city with plenty of outdoor recreation options nearby. The home features a spacious backyard with room for a garden and outdoor entertaining, and it’s close enough to the city for Michael to easily access his hobbies.
As they weigh their options, Michael and Carolyn must decide what’s most important to them as a couple and make a decision that will allow them to build their future together. Will they be able to find the perfect home that meets both of their needs? Tune in to find out on this exciting episode of House Hunters International.
