Huang's World Season 1 Episode 9 Los Angeles Part 3

Huang's World is a travel documentary series on Viceland that follows chef and writer Eddie Huang as he explores different cultures and cuisines around the world. The episode begins with Huang visiting a local flower market in Downtown LA. He meets with a florist who shows him around and explains how the market works. Huang continues his exploration of the city's food scene by visiting the historic Grand Central Market. He meets up with chef Josef Centeno, who gives him a tour of some of the market's most popular vendors. They try all sorts of food, from tacos to Oaxacan cheese to Thai noodles. Huang also learns about the market's history and how it has evolved over the years.

Later, Huang heads to a Korean restaurant called Soban in Koreatown. He talks with the owner, Yoon Lee, about Korean food and culture. They try a variety of traditional Korean dishes, including kimchi stew, beef ribs, and Korean fried chicken. Huang also learns about some of the challenges facing Korean immigrants and businesses in LA.

The episode ends with Huang at El Mercado de Los Angeles, a Mexican market in East LA. He meets up with some locals who show him around and introduce him to some traditional Mexican foods like tacos de birria and tortas. Huang also talks with some of the vendors and learns about the important role that markets like these play in the community.

Overall, "Los Angeles Part 3" is a fascinating look at the diverse cultural and culinary landscape of Los Angeles. Huang's enthusiasm and curiosity make him a great guide, and viewers are sure to come away with a greater appreciation for the city and its many offerings.
