Dive of Terror is the third episode of the sixth season of the thrilling television series I Shouldn't Be Alive. In this episode, viewers are introduced to the harrowing tale of two experienced divers named Andrew Wight and Craig Challen who embarked on an adventure that quickly turned into their worst nightmare.

The episode opens with Wight and Challen planning for an intricate cave diving exploration in Nullarbor Plain, which is located in Southern Australia. The two men have previously explored some of the most dangerous caves in the world and are now excited about their latest find, the Cocklebiddy Cave. The divers hope to uncover a new route in the cave that would extend its previous known distance of 6.5 kilometers.

As they enter the cave, they soon realize that conditions are not favorable for diving, and the way in front of them is nothing but a narrow and complicated tapestry of channels and passages. Despite the challenges, they forge ahead with their mission. The divers have to continually check their equipment, as they dive through low oxygen tunnels, swim in complete darkness, and navigate through narrow passageways filled with sharp rocks. Suddenly, things take a turn for the worse when one of the divers accidentally dislodges a rock, causing a huge slab of boulder to shift and block the only way out.

With no other option but to find another way out, the divers continue their quest and descend much deeper into the cave. Eventually, they discover a tunnel that leads to another cave dubbed the "Darkness Visible." It is a large cavern filled with soft clay, surrounded by a surreal array of columns, stalactites, and stalagmites. The two divers realize they have no other option but to continue their exploration and find another way out of this new cavern.

Their descent into Darkness Visible proves to be the beginning of a new ordeal as they face a life-altering crisis in the form of a flash flood. Within a matter of seconds, the cave is filling up with water, threatening their existence. They need to make quick, calculated decisions that will determine whether they will survive or become trapped forever in the cave.

Over the next few days, Wight and Challen embark on an adrenaline-fueled fight for survival as they try to navigate the flooded cave system. The two divers have to endure unimaginable hardships such as swimming through narrow channels filled with sand, battling hypothermia in near-zero temperature water, and making dangerous underwater descents through flooded sumps.

As the divers progress deeper into the cave system, the challenges only seem to increase in intensity. They are forced to confront their fears when they are trapped in tiny air pockets surrounded by rising water levels, testing their mental and physical endurance to the limit. Amidst all these challenges, they come across a small chamber where they find signs of their rescuers. The duo becomes reinvigorated by the thought of recovery.

In conclusion, Dive of Terror is a thrilling account of Wight and Challen's heroic journey as they battle their way out of an unimaginable crisis. Viewers will be on the edge of their seats as they watch the two divers try to navigate an insurmountable opportunity, one that may have spelled death for anyone else. The story may be fraught with dangers, but in the end, the divers emerge stronger, wiser, and grateful for having survived against all odds.
