Ep 6. Jerry/Maria & Melissa

Jerry, Maria, and Melissa all have harrowing stories of survival to share on this episode of I Survived. Jerry was out hiking alone when he became trapped in a ravine with no way out. In his struggle to stay alive, he faced dangerous animals, starvation, and dehydration. After several days of enduring extreme conditions, Jerry's strength and resourcefulness finally led him to safety.

Maria's story is one of domestic violence and near-death experiences. She had endured years of abuse at the hands of her violent husband, but she finally found the courage to leave him. However, her husband wasn't willing to let her go so easily. One night, he broke into her home and brutally attacked her with a knife. Miraculously, Maria managed to fight him off and survive the vicious assault.

Melissa's story is one of strength and triumph over medical adversity. She was diagnosed with a rare bone disease at a young age and was told she would never be able to walk. Despite this, Melissa refused to let her condition hold her back. She underwent multiple surgeries and grueling physical therapy, and eventually learned to walk with the aid of leg braces. Her strength and determination have allowed her to overcome incredible obstacles and live a full and happy life.
