Ep 10. Terry / Anne & Debi / Earleen

I Survived season 5 episode 10 features three separate stories of survival.

The first story revolves around Terry, a 54-year-old grandfather from Ohio who hired a hitman to kill his wife. However, the hitman betrayed him and shot Terry instead. Miraculously, Terry survived the gunshot wound to his head and was able to seek medical attention. Despite facing criminal charges, Terry is grateful to be alive and has turned his life around.

The second story is about Anne and Debi, who were hiking in a remote area of Arizona when they became lost and stranded without food or water. Over the course of nine days, they endured extreme temperatures, dehydration, and encounters with dangerous wildlife. Through sheer willpower and determination, the two women managed to find their way back to civilization and reunite with their families.

The final story features Earleen, a young woman from Nebraska who was abducted at gunpoint by a stranger while walking to her car. Over the course of four hours, Earleen was held captive and subjected to physical and sexual assault. In the face of unimaginable terror, Earleen found the strength to fight back against her attacker and was able to escape with her life.

Throughout the episode, each survivor recounts their harrowing experiences in vivid detail, providing insight into the physical and emotional toll of their ordeals. Despite the trauma they faced, each survivor emerged from their experience with renewed strength and a sense of gratitude for life. Through their stories, viewers are reminded of the resilience of the human spirit and the power of hope in the face of adversity.
