Ep 8. Albert / Matt / Kristie

In I Survived season 5 episode 8, viewers are introduced to three individuals who find themselves in life-threatening situations: Albert, Matt, and Kristie.

Albert's story takes place while he is on a fishing trip in Canada with his friends. One morning, they wake up to find that their boat has sunk during the night and they are stranded on a remote island with no food, water, cell service, or means of communication with the outside world. As time goes on, Albert and his friends struggle to survive in the wilderness, dealing with extreme weather conditions, hungry bears, and the threat of dehydration.

Meanwhile, Matt's story starts on a peaceful day in his hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee. As he is driving home from work, Matt is suddenly hit by a car and thrown from his motorcycle. The accident leaves him with a broken back and unable to move, lying in a ditch by the side of the road. With no one around to help, Matt is forced to rely on his own strength and willpower to survive until he can be rescued.

Finally, Kristie's story takes place on a seemingly ordinary day in her hometown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. As she is out jogging, Kristie is suddenly attacked by a masked man with a knife. Despite being repeatedly stabbed, Kristie manages to fight back and escape her attacker. As she runs for help, Kristie is determined to survive and recover from her injuries.

Throughout the episode, viewers are taken on a journey of survival and perseverance as each of these individuals faces incredible challenges and overcomes seemingly insurmountable odds. Despite the unique circumstances of their ordeals, Albert, Matt, and Kristie each come out on the other side with a newfound appreciation for life and a stronger sense of resilience.
