Ink Master: Redemption is back with its fourth season and the first episode is titled "Declaration Of Ink-dependence". This episode follows former contestants who are looking for a chance to redeem themselves after their elimination from the competition.

The episode starts with host Dave Navarro introducing three artists who will be trying to win redemption. The first artist is Babiery Hernandez, who was eliminated in season 11 after a portrait tattoo challenge. The second artist is Clint Cummings, who was eliminated in season 2 after a new-school tattoo challenge. And the third artist is St. Marq, who was eliminated in season 6 after a realism tattoo challenge.

Dave Navarro explains that these artists will have to tattoo their former clients who were not satisfied with their previous work. Before starting the challenge, each artist meets with their respective client to discuss their expectations and preferences. They also have to explain why they were eliminated from the competition and what they have learned from their previous mistakes.

The first tattoo challenge is to cover up an old tattoo. Babiery and her client have to cover up a poorly done tattoo of a cat with a new design. Babiery decides to do a realistic portrait of a lion and adds a quote that says 'strength and courage'. Clint and his client have to cover up a tattoo of a geisha with a new design. Clint decides to do a new-school design of a bird and adds some colors to make it look attractive. St. Marq and his client have to cover up a tattoo of a scorpion with a new design. St. Marq decides to do a realistic portrait of a wolf and adds some tribal elements to make it look aggressive.

The second tattoo challenge is to do a portrait tattoo. Babiery has to do a portrait tattoo of her client's mother who passed away. She decides to do a realistic portrait and adds some angel wings to make it look like a tribute. Clint has to do a portrait tattoo of his client's wife who passed away. He decides to do a new-school design and adds some flowers and hearts to make it look like a celebration of life. St. Marq has to do a portrait tattoo of his client's father who passed away. He decides to do a realistic portrait and adds some Celtic elements to make it look like a tribute.

After the tattoos are done, the clients have to give their feedback and the judges have to decide which artist deserves redemption. The judges include Chris Nunez, Oliver Peck, and Dave Navarro. They critique each tattoo based on its design, technique, and overall impression. They also ask the clients about their experience and whether they are satisfied with the new tattoo.

In the end, one artist is declared the winner and gets redemption. The other two artists are sent home. The winning artist is revealed after an intense judging session and the episode ends with the judges congratulating the artist on their redemption and praising their improvement since their elimination from the competition.

Overall, "Declaration Of Ink-dependence" is an emotional episode that showcases the artists' dedication to their craft and their desire to prove themselves. It also highlights the importance of communication between artists and clients and the need for artists to learn from their mistakes and improve their skills. Fans of the show will surely enjoy this episode and root for their favorite artists to win redemption.
