Inside West Coast Customs was a spin off of the popular MTV Pimp This Ride show. It's short two year run from 2011-2013 showcased the abilities of Ryan Friedlinghaus, the owner of this auto body shop. The goal was to fix old beat up cars and to make them over. They would do the unthinkable and the unimaginable to cars making them truly custom. The show didn't do well in the ratings, as it was just like the show it spun off from. Though this auto shop was features on the show, fans believed it was the same show, minus the famous rapper, Xzibit.

The goal of this show was to make over automobiles to have cooler in the trunks, video game system and elaborate entertainment units.
