Ep 1. Dog and Me

Inu X Boku Secret Service season 1 episode 1, titled "Dog and Me," introduces us to the main character, Ririchiyo Shirakiin. She is a young girl from a wealthy family who moves into a special high-class apartment complex called Maison de Ayakashi. This complex is known for housing exclusively those with demon lineage, who have special abilities and powers. Ririchiyo has an inferiority complex due to her heritage, and wants to live independently without her family's influence.

As Ririchiyo is settling into her new home, she is introduced to her personal secret service agent, or SS agent, named Soushi Miketsukami. He is a handsome young man who is polite and attentive to her needs. Ririchiyo is skeptical of him, as she finds his level of devotion to her quite strange. Soushi explains that his loyalty to her is due to their shared history. They knew each other as children, and he has been in love with her ever since.

Ririchiyo finds this hard to believe, as she doesn't remember ever meeting him before. In addition, her previous experiences with SS agents proved to be negative as they often treated her with disdain due to her harsh personality. She decides to test Soushi's loyalty and obedience by having him do chores for her around the complex. Soushi willingly complies, and he does so with a smile on his face, which further confuses Ririchiyo.

Later that day, Ririchiyo meets her fellow residents at a welcoming party in the main hall. Among them are a variety of demons and supernatural beings who all have their own quirks and personalities. One demon in particular catches her eye, a small fox named Nobara Yukinokouji who likes to tease and provoke her. The two have a brief exchange before Ririchiyo retreats to her room.

As she is getting ready for bed, Ririchiyo hears strange noises outside her window. She investigates and finds a small dog who she takes in, much to Soushi's delight. The dog, named Hana, proves to be a loyal companion to Ririchiyo, but she begins to notice that it acts strangely at times. When she tries to take it out for a walk, Hana suddenly transforms into a large beast and attacks her.

The attack is stopped by Soushi, who reveals that Hana is actually a demon who has been cursed to take the form of a dog. He explains that he and Ririchiyo share a bond that allows him to sense danger and protect her. Ririchiyo is initially hesitant to believe him, but Soushi proves it by showing his own demon form, that of a nine-tailed fox.

The episode ends with Ririchiyo realizing that she needs Soushi's protection and loyalty more than she initially thought. She accepts him as her SS agent, and the two begin to develop a deeper bond. The other residents of Maison de Ayakashi start to take notice of their relationship as well, and it becomes apparent that Ririchiyo and Soushi's connection is more than just a normal master-servant relationship.

Overall, "Dog and Me" sets up the world of Inu X Boku Secret Service well, introducing us to the complex characters and magical elements of the series. It also establishes the dynamic between Ririchiyo and Soushi, which serves as the foundation for the rest of the season.
