Ep 6. Some Like It Hot Mess

Liv consumes the brain of a newly murdered social media influencer in the latest episode of iZombie season 3, "Some Like It Hot Mess."

As soon as she ingests the brain, Liv finds herself repeatedly posting selfies on Instagram, becoming addicted to Twitter, and craving attention, which isn't too far from how the actual influencer lived her life. However, when Liv's online posts begin to incriminate her friends and associates in unexpected ways, she realizes that she is potentially jeopardizing someone's life and decides to refrain from posting anything more online.

Meanwhile, Clive and Bozzio continue working together to solve multiple murder cases. They attend a funeral to question some of the mourners who happened to be the deceased's former lovers, but their investigation leads to more questions than answers. The detectives learn that not everything about the victim’s love life was as it seemed.

As if solving multiple murder cases weren't enough, Clive is also dealing with his recent breakup with Dale Bozzio. He is having trouble keeping his mind off of her, even though he tries to distract himself. When he finally decides to confront her, he is surprised by her reaction, which leads to a shocking development.

Meanwhile, Blaine is still trying to regain control of his brain smuggling business. He decides to take drastic measures and approaches Mr. Boss, his former employer, for help. However, Mr. Boss is not entirely convinced that Blaine's plan can solve their mutual problems.

Lastly, Ravi is still working on the cure for the zombie virus. While he experiments on rats, he discovers an unexpected side effect that makes him change his mind about testing the cure on himself. He's left with the daunting task of finding a reliable test subject he can trust before going forward with his risky plan.
