Judge Judy Season 16 Episode 194 Bull Mastiff Injury; Box Cutter Injury
- April 4, 2012
After owning and loving their bull mastiff for six years, a young couple is faced with the difficult decision of putting their beloved pet down following an incident with a neighbor's dog.
In the first case, a woman claims she was attacked by the couple's dog while walking her own dog past their property. She says the bull mastiff knocked her down and bit her, causing serious injury to her arm. The couple insists their dog has never shown aggression before and is gentle with people and other animals. However, the neighbor claims that the couple had previously been warned about their dog's behavior and had failed to address the issue. Judge Judy must determine whether the couple is responsible for the plaintiff's injuries and if the bull mastiff is truly dangerous.
In the second case, a man and his coworker become embroiled in a heated argument at work, during which the man claims his coworker threatened him with a box cutter. The man says he feared for his life and immediately reported the incident to their employer. The coworker, however, denies ever brandishing a box cutter and argues that the man is simply trying to get him fired. Judge Judy must determine who is telling the truth and if any damages should be awarded.
Throughout both cases, Judge Judy uses her trademark no-nonsense approach to cut through the extraneous details and get to the heart of the matter. She seeks the truth and expects honest answers from all parties involved. Viewers will be on the edge of their seats as they watch the drama unfold and Judge Judy issue her final verdicts. With her sharp wit and sharp tongue, Judge Judy proves once again why she is one of the most beloved and respected judges on television.
