Last Exile Season 1 Episode 1 First Move

In the world of Prestel, humanity has been forced to live in the skies due to the polluted surface below. The story follows a young vanship pilot named Claus Valca who dreams of surpassing his late father's glory days as a famous pilot, and his navigator, Lavie Head, who reluctantly accompanies him on his adventures. The two embark on a mission to deliver a package to Duke Madosen of the nation of Anatoray, but their journey takes an unexpected turn when they encounter a group of air pirates led by the infamous Captain Alex Row.

As Claus and Lavie fly towards their destination, they become caught up in a battle between the Anatoray and Disith nations. The Anatoray fleet, led by Duke Madosen's son, Dio, engages in a fierce battle with the Disith, and Claus and Lavie are forced to navigate their way through the chaos to avoid getting caught in the crossfire. After narrowly escaping a missile strike, the two come across a mysterious ship hovering in the sky.

The ship is the Silvana, commanded by Captain Row, and it's a part of the guild, a semi-autonomous organization of ship captains who use their vessels to transport goods and engage in combat when necessary. Captain Row offers Claus and Lavie safe passage to Anatoray in exchange for their help in defending the Silvana against an impending enemy attack.

As the battle approaches, Claus and Lavie witness the Silvana's impressive capabilities firsthand. The ship is equipped with powerful weapons and intricate mechanisms that make it nearly invincible. Despite the overwhelming odds against them, the Silvana crew stands their ground in a valiant effort to defend their ship and their way of life.

Through it all, Claus and Lavie learn the value of perseverance and companionship as they encounter new friends and foes along the way.
