Wyler is abrasive and uncooperative, but Eames senses that there's something she's not saying.

As Goren and Eames delve deeper into the various players in the art world, they discover that many of them are involved in a complex scheme of art forgery and theft. They also come to realize that the value of art – and the lengths to which people will go to possess it – has clouded the judgment of those involved, making them do things they never thought possible.

As the investigation progresses, Goren and Eames become more and more immersed in the murky and often cutthroat world of high art, and they soon realize that they may be in over their heads. With egos and reputations on the line, and with millions of dollars at stake, the detectives must navigate a web of intrigue and deception in order to solve the case and bring Colin Ledger's killer to justice.

In "Art," Law & Order: Criminal Intent manages to explore not only the seedy underbelly of the art world but also the complexities of human nature and the innate desire for power and success.
