Ep 2. Chemistry

Martin Odum is an FBI agent with the unique ability to transform himself into a completely different person for each undercover operation. In the second episode of the first season, entitled "Chemistry," Martin is tasked with infiltrating a group of eco-terrorists suspected of planning to bomb a chemical plant.

As Martin prepares to go undercover as a chemical plant worker, he is paired up with another FBI agent, Crystal McGuire, who is posing as his girlfriend. Crystal is smart and beautiful, but Martin is uncomfortable with the idea of working with a woman he barely knows, let alone pretending to be in a romantic relationship with her.

As the eco-terrorists begin to reveal their plan to Martin and Crystal, tensions start to rise between the two agents as they struggle to maintain their cover. Martin's former mentor, an agent named Lenny Cohen, is also involved in the investigation, and it becomes clear that there is some unresolved history between Martin and Lenny.

With the deadline for the planned attack fast approaching, Martin and Crystal must work together to uncover the terrorists' true motives and stop them before it's too late. Along the way, they come across a key member of the group who is harboring some dangerous secrets.

As Martin navigates his new identity and tries to keep up with the eco-terrorists' complex plan, he begins to realize that his own personal life may be putting the mission in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Lenny's involvement raises even more questions, and Martin is forced to confront some uncomfortable truths about his past.

"Chemistry" is a tense, action-packed episode that explores the world of undercover work and the toll it can take on those who must constantly shift their identities. As Martin and Crystal work to uncover the truth behind the eco-terrorists' plan, they must also confront their own shifting allegiances and personal demons. With strong performances from the cast and a tight, suspenseful script, "Chemistry" is a must-see episode of Legends.
