In episode 71 of season 2, cameras follow law enforcement officers from six different police agencies as they respond to calls throughout the country, giving viewers an unfiltered look at the dangers and challenges officers face on a nightly basis.

One of the first segments of the episode takes place in Richland County, South Carolina, where Deputy Devin Wilson pulls over a car for erratic driving. When he approaches the vehicle, the driver claims that he is actually his twin brother, who has a warrant out for his arrest. Deputy Wilson quickly realizes that the man is lying and orders him out of the car. A search of the vehicle reveals that the man has a loaded gun, which he claims he forgot about. Backup officers arrive on the scene, and the driver is eventually arrested for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Meanwhile, in Jefferson County, Alabama, Deputy Dusty Brown is called to a possible drug overdose. When he arrives on the scene, he finds a man slumped over in the driver's seat of a car. The man is unresponsive, and Deputy Brown administers Narcan, a drug used to reverse opioid overdoses. The man comes to and is taken to the hospital for further treatment. Later in the episode, Deputy Brown pulls over a car for a broken tail light and discovers that the driver has a suspended license. While the driver is being ticketed, his passenger becomes increasingly agitated and tries to run away. Deputy Brown chases him down and eventually gets him into custody.

Moving on to Richland County, South Carolina, Deputy Chris Mastrianni and his K9 partner, Flex, respond to a call about a man who fled the scene of a domestic dispute. Using Flex's powerful nose, the officers track the man down to a nearby apartment complex. When they confront him, the man tries to run away, but Flex quickly catches up to him and takes him down. The man is arrested and taken into custody for domestic violence.

In Oklahoma, the Tulsa Police Department's gang unit is on the lookout for a suspect who is believed to be involved in drug trafficking. Using a combination of intelligence and surveillance, the officers are able to locate the suspect's car and set up a sting operation. When the suspect arrives on the scene, he is quickly apprehended and taken into custody. Officers search his car and find a large quantity of drugs, cash, and firearms.

The final segment of the episode takes place in Nye County, Nevada, where deputies are involved in a high-speed pursuit of a vehicle that has been reported stolen. The chase reaches speeds of up to 100 miles per hour as the driver weaves in and out of traffic and through residential neighborhoods. Eventually, the driver loses control and crashes into a fence. Deputies pull the driver out of the wrecked vehicle and take him into custody. It is later revealed that the car was not only stolen but also contained a number of stolen credit cards and other personal information.
