Living Biblically is a comedy series that follows Chip, a widower who decides to change his life completely and follow the Bible literally. In episode 5, "Thou Shalt Not Steal," Chip struggles with the commandment not to steal in the modern world.

The episode opens with Chip struggling to find a parking spot at the mall. He eventually steals a spot from a woman who was waiting for it, which leads him to feel guilty about breaking the commandment. When he meets with his spiritual advisor, Father Gene, he confesses his sin and asks for guidance.

Father Gene suggests that Chip needs to find a way to make amends for his act of stealing. This leads Chip to go back to the mall and try to find the woman he stole the parking spot from. He eventually finds her, but she doesn't seem to be bothered by the incident. In fact, she tells him that she was only waiting for the spot for her husband who is a pastor and is picking up supplies for their church.

This information only makes Chip feel more guilty, and he decides to find a way to make things right with the woman's husband. He follows him to his church and offers to help out with their upcoming bake sale. Chip's intentions are good, but his attempts to help only lead to more problems. He accidentally spills dye on the sale items, and his attempts to fix the situation only make things worse.

Meanwhile, Chip's wife, Leslie, tries to keep their household running without him. She struggles with one of the commandments herself, as she tries to honor the Sabbath day by not doing any work. However, when their daughter gets sick and they have to take her to the doctor, Leslie is forced to break the commandment.

In the end, Chip realizes that sometimes it's better to focus on the spirit of the law rather than the letter of the law. He may have broken the commandment not to steal, but his attempts to make amends and help others were in line with the overall message of the Bible.

Overall, "Thou Shalt Not Steal" is a humorous exploration of how difficult it can be to follow ancient commandments in modern times. The show uses its comedic tone to poke fun at the absurdity of some of these commandments, while also exploring some deeper themes about the importance of doing the right thing and making amends for our mistakes.
