In the ninth episode of the second season of Living with Ed, actress Sharon Lawrence shares her green ideas with Ed Begley Jr. and his wife Rachelle Carson-Begley. The episode begins with Sharon arriving at Ed's house on her bike, wanting to show Ed her latest eco-conscious purchase - a new bike trailer that she uses to transport her groceries and other items instead of using her car.

Ed and Sharon then head to the roof of Ed's home where they discuss the benefits of solar panels and how they both have them installed to help reduce their carbon footprint and electricity bills. The episode then takes a turn towards eco-friendliness in the entertainment industry as Sharon and Ed discuss the sustainable practices that are now being implemented on movie and TV sets. They talk about using solar-powered generators and energy-efficient lighting, as well as eliminating the use of single-use plastics like water bottles on set.

Finally, the group heads to a local farmer's market where Sharon introduces Ed and Rachelle to some of her favorite vendors and talks about the importance of supporting local farmers and buying organic, seasonal produce.
