Looney Tunes Season 1946 Episode 19 Racketeer Rabbit
- September 14, 1946
In the Looney Tunes episode "Racketeer Rabbit," Bugs Bunny is on the run from Mafia boss Rocky and his henchman Nicky. Bugs inadvertently ends up in Rocky's hideout, where he uses his wits to convince Rocky and Nicky that he is a fellow gangster called "Bugsy" and is in town to help them with a heist.
Bugs manages to keep up the charade and becomes a part of Rocky's gang, even convincing them to change their heist from stealing carrots to instead robbing a bank. However, Bugs eventually realizes that he's in over his head and makes a run for it, with Rocky and Nicky close behind.
The chase scene that ensues is classic Looney Tunes, with Bugs outsmarting his pursuers at every turn. He even manages to trick Rocky and Nicky into stealing from a police station, which results in their arrest.
The episode is full of classic Looney Tunes humor, with Bugs Bunny's wit and charm on full display. And, of course, no Looney Tunes episode would be complete without a musical interlude - "Anvil Chorus" is featured prominently in this episode.
Overall, "Racketeer Rabbit" is a fun and entertaining episode of Looney Tunes, with plenty of laughs and classic cartoon hijinks.
