In season two, episode five of Lost Gold of World War II, entitled "All Over The Maps," the team continues their search for the elusive Yamashita treasure in the Philippines. The team, led by retired CIA operative John Casey and his crew, include Filipino historian Karlo Mauro, military historian Willy Martin, treasure hunter Jeremy Whalen, and demolition expert J.C. Earl.

The episode begins with the team consulting a map that they had obtained from a local who claimed to have found it in his grandfather's belongings. The map shows a potential location of gold tunnels in the Cagayan Valley region, where the team previously found tunnels and artifacts associated with Japanese soldiers.

The team splits up to cover more ground, with John and J.C. heading to a nearby river to search for possible concealed tunnels. Jeremy and Willy head to the location on the map to see if they can find any evidence of gold tunnels.

J.C. and John find a narrow and shallow river, which they suspect may have been used to divert water into a concealed tunnel. They decide to use a suction pump to search the riverbed for any signs of a concealed tunnel. After hours of pumping water, they finally hit a hard surface and think they have found a lead. Now, they need to figure out how to get into the tunnel without destroying any potential treasure.

Meanwhile, Jeremy and Willy reach an overgrown area in the Cagayan Valley, where they suspect the treasure tunnels are located. They find some disturbed soil but are unsure if it's a sign of the tunnels or merely natural erosion.

As they continue to explore the area, they come across a small rock formation that appears suspicious. Upon closer examination, they find that the rocks have been placed in a very deliberate manner, potentially used to mark the entrance to a tunnel.

Jeremy and Willy decide to set up a ground-penetrating radar to confirm the presence of the tunnel. The radar returns positive results, and the team is now one step closer to finding the gold.

Back at the river, J.C. and John work on digging their way into the tunnel without causing any damage. They eventually carve out a small hole and snake a camera in to get a better look. The camera reveals a series of water channels that lead to an inner chamber.

As they make their way into the chamber, they find evidence of human activity but no gold yet. They do, however, find a small Japanese flag, potentially belonging to the soldiers who created the tunnel. With this clue, the team hopes to learn more about who built this tunnel and what they were doing there.

With both teams making progress, the episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving the audience wondering what other discoveries the team will uncover in their search for the Yamashita treasure.
