Paige and Jeff have lived in their home for over a decade, but as their family has grown, so have their space needs. They love their family-friendly neighbourhood in North Vancouver and don't want to leave, but their cramped living space is causing stress in their day-to-day lives.
They are at odds about what to do, with Paige wanting to renovate and Jeff ready to move on to a bigger home. Enter Love It or List It Vancouver's interior designer Jillian Harris and real estate agent Todd Talbot.
Jillian tries to create a more functional space for the family by redesigning their living room and kitchen. She looks to create more storage space, add a more open layout, and give the family room to entertain. But the project hits some roadblocks when she discovers unforeseen structural and financial issues.
Meanwhile, Todd sets out to find a bigger home that will meet the family's needs. He takes them to a number of houses in North Vancouver and the surrounding area, but they all prove to be financially out of reach or not the right fit for the family.
The pressure is on as Paige and Jeff are forced to make a tough decision about their future. Will they choose to stay in their newly renovated home and Love It, or will they decide to List It and move on to a new space that better suits their family's needs?
