Love It or List It Vancouver Season 2 Episode 14 Theresa & David

Theresa and David are in a bit of a predicament. They’ve lived in their 1400 square foot, 3-bedroom home for 20 years, but now their home is more frustrating than functional and they can’t agree on what to do. Theresa is done with the dated space and wants to list their home and move on. David, on the other hand, loves their neighborhood and wants Rob and Mia to transform their home into something modern, spacious and fresh.

The couple’s current home is plagued with issues including a cramped layout, small bathrooms and an outdated kitchen. To make matters worse, the basement is only partially finished and doesn’t provide Theresa with the home office she desperately needs for her growing business.

Designer Mia aims to provide the couple with a functional, contemporary home that meets both their needs and budget. Her plan includes opening up the main floor, brightening up the space with fresh paint and new fixtures, installing a new stone fireplace and creating a modern kitchen with plenty of storage. Mia has also factored in Theresa's need for a functional home office within the new design.

Meanwhile, Rob has the daunting task of finding a suitable new home for the couple. He knows they have a specific budget and prime location, so the search isn’t easy. Rob tours several properties with the couple, each with its own unique charm and appeal. Although, the properties seem promising at first glance, there always seems to be a major compromise – lack of backyard space, cramped living quarters or additional renovations needed.

Theresa and David have many tough decisions to make throughout the episode as they waver between the option to love their updated home or list it in search of something that perfectly meets their needs. Designer Mia transforms their small, dated space into a modern, functional oasis that meets both their needs and budget. Rob, on the other hand, shows the couple a variety of homes that they can start fresh in, but each one comes with its own set of compromises.

Which option will the couple ultimately decide on? Will they stay in their newly transformed home that checks all their requirements off their list or will they find a new property that meets all their needs without any compromise? You’ll have to tune in to find out!
