Love It or List It Vancouver Season 3 Episode 11 Stephanie & Darrell

Stephanie and Darrell have been living in their current home for 10 years. However, as their family has grown, they have outgrown their space and are in need of a larger, more functional home. Stephanie loves the location of their current home, as it is close to family and friends, and she has put in a lot of work to make it her own. Meanwhile, Darrell is ready for a change and is open to the idea of finding a new home that better suits their needs.

Hilary starts off by meeting with Stephanie to see what changes could be made to the current home to suit their needs. She quickly realizes that the main issue is the lack of space, which is especially problematic in the kitchen and living room areas. Hilary comes up with a plan to remove a wall in the kitchen, create a more efficient layout, and add a small addition to the back of the house to create a family room. Stephanie is excited about the possibilities and is hopeful that Hilary can make their home work for them.

Meanwhile, David takes Darrell out to see some potential new homes. Darrell is impressed with the first two homes they see, both of which have ample space and modern finishes. However, the third home they visit has a stunning view of the city and mountains, which immediately catches Darrell's attention. David sees potential in the home but notes that it will require some updates to make it truly livable.

Back at Stephanie and Darrell's current home, the renovation is in full swing. However, the project hits a bit of a snag when the team discovers some structural issues with the home. Hilary is forced to come up with a new plan that takes these issues into account, which includes adding a second story to the back addition to make up for the lost square footage. Stephanie begins to worry that the renovation is becoming too much of an undertaking.

Meanwhile, David takes Darrell to see a newly-built townhouse in a desirable neighborhood. While the townhouse is beautifully designed and finished, Darrell is hesitant to leave the location he has grown to love over the past decade. David reminds Darrell that they can always come back to the townhouse if they don't find something they love more.

Back at Stephanie and Darrell's home, the renovation is finally complete. The new family room and updated kitchen are spacious and functional, and Stephanie is thrilled with how the home has turned out. Darrell is impressed with the updates but still feels drawn to the potential of finding a new home.

At the end of the episode, Stephanie and Darrell must make a tough decision: love their newly-renovated home or list it and find a new one. They weigh their options carefully, taking into account their family's needs and desires. In the end, they make their choice and reveal it to Hilary and David.
