As Marcus steps out on stage, he is initially relaxed and confident. Maury talks to him about his relationship with Samantha and asks him if he has a preference for white women. Marcus denies it, saying that he loves Samantha regardless of her race.

But then, the white actress enters the stage. Marcus greets her warmly and seems to be enjoying her company. As she flirts with him more and more, Samantha becomes increasingly anxious and upset.

Maury then decides to take things up a notch. He has the actress suggest that she and Marcus go out for a drink together. Marcus agrees, and the two of them leave the stage hand in hand.

Samantha is inconsolable backstage, convinced that her fiancé is cheating on her with the white actress. But Maury reassures her that the test isn't over yet.

He sends cameras to follow Marcus and the white actress to a bar. As they sit down together, the actress starts to ask Marcus about his preferences. She tells him that she thinks he is really attractive and that she has always had a thing for black men.

Marcus denies having any particular preference for white women, but he still seems to be enjoying the attention. As the night goes on, the actress becomes bolder and more touchy-feely with Marcus. Eventually, they start to kiss.

Samantha is devastated when she sees the footage. Maury brings Marcus and the white actress back on stage to face her. Marcus tries to defend himself, saying that he was only going along with the test and that he loves Samantha.

But Samantha is not convinced. She tells Marcus that she is done with him and walks off the stage in tears.
