Ep 5. Stella Australis

Stella Australis is the fifth episode of the first season of the show Mighty Cruise Ships. In this episode, viewers are taken on an exciting adventure to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego, dotted with glaciers, icy blue lakes and majestic mountains. Considered one of the most treacherous stretches of water in the world, Cape Horn is notorious for its fierce winds, towering waves and notoriously dangerous conditions. Thanks to the expert navigation skills of the captain and crew, the ship safely rounds the cape, giving passengers a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The final day of the voyage takes passengers to Wulaia Bay, a historic site once inhabited by the indigenous Yamana people. Here, viewers learn about the region's rich history and culture, as well as the recent efforts to preserve the area's natural beauty. The ship's guests are taken on a hike through the pristine forest, providing ample opportunities to spot majestic birds and other local wildlife.

As the journey comes to an end, passengers disembark back in Punta Arenas, with memories and experiences that will last a lifetime.
