Ep 22. Reflekta

Marinette is getting ready for her class photo, worrying about how she looks and hoping that Adrien will notice her. However, when she accidentally drops her pen on the ground and picks it up, she is hit by Reflekta's beam and becomes a mirror image of herself. Reflekta is a villain with the power to reflect people's images back at them, turning them into their own image. In this case, Marinette is turned into a duplicate of herself, while Reflekta uses Marinette's own image to create a clone of herself.

As Mari, the mirror-image Marinette, wanders through the streets of Paris, she sees the other students and citizens of Paris turned into duplicates of themselves. She briefly entertains the idea of blending in with them, but soon realizes that they are all versions of herself and becomes overwhelmed.

Meanwhile, Cat Noir is on the lookout for Reflekta and finds himself facing off against her clone. He struggles to fight her, as she is able to predict his every move by reflecting his image back at him. Ladybug arrives on the scene, and they quickly develop a plan to defeat Reflekta.

As Ladybug and Cat Noir work to capture Reflekta, Marinette struggles with her own identity crisis as she tries to navigate a world where everyone looks like her. She struggles with her own self-doubt and insecurities, which are mirrored back at her by the countless copies of herself around her.

Eventually, Ladybug and Cat Noir are able to defeat Reflekta, but not before Marinette must face herself and overcome her own fears and doubts. With her newfound confidence, Marinette takes the class photo and finally catches Adrien's attention, realizing in the end that true beauty comes from within.
