Ep 7. The Evillustrator

Marinette and Adrien are in their classroom when the students are given an assignment to write a love letter. The class clown, Nathaniel, reveals that he has a crush on Marinette and offers to write her love letter as part of the assignment. Marinette agrees, but Adrien is skeptical and warns Marinette to be careful.

Meanwhile, Nathaniel creates a comic book character named the Evillustrator who comes to life with the power of his drawings. The Evillustrator becomes Nathaniel’s outlet for his unrequited love for Marinette and he uses his power to seek revenge on those who have hurt him, including Marinette’s classmates who have bullied him.

Ladybug and Cat Noir are called into action to stop the Evillustrator before he causes any more damage. Along the way, they discover Nathaniel’s motivations and help him realize that his true passion lies in creating comics, not seeking revenge.

The episode explores themes of unrequited love, bullying, and finding one’s passion. It also introduces Nathaniel as a recurring character and sets up potential storylines for future episodes.
