Mixology Season 1 Episode 6 Tom & Maya II

Tom & Maya II is the sixth episode of Mixology season 1. Set in New York City, Mixology follows the story of ten singles as they try to navigate their way through a various series of hook-ups, break-ups and everything in between in a Manhattan bar over the course of one night.

In this episode, Tom and Maya who were originally paired in the previous episode continue to explore their chemistry even more. They both find themselves attracted to each other and their flirtatious banter continues throughout the night. Their chemistry is palpable which makes their love story more captivating.

As the night progresses, Tom and Maya come to the point where they genuinely start to learn about each other's passions outside of one another, but they quickly learn that they have little in common with. But their enthusiasm to stay together in the bar instead of parting ways shows the respect they have for each other’s company.

On the other hand, the show follows the story of Bruce, who is painfully determined to win over Jessica, a beautiful but seemingly uninterested woman. Despite being rejected by her, Bruce still doesn’t quit and ultimately his patience pays off when Jessica finally agrees to go on a date with him.

Meanwhile, Ron and Dominic, two of the other main characters, are still trying to make sense of their respective love lives. Ron has his eyes set on Liv and it turns out that they might have a fling on the dance floor. But when a third wheel comes in between them, Ron’s ego gets hurt and he gets into a fistfight with the man. Meanwhile, Dominic starts to feel guilty about not calling his off-and-on girlfriend, and ultimately decides to seek her out to make things right. It’s just another one of the problematic relationships that mix in with the romantic ones in this bustling bar.
