Celestial Being is on the offensive once again in season 1 episode 21 of Mobile Suit Gundam 00, titled "The Path of Destruction". Having previously taken over the HRL's orbital elevator in South America, the organization now moves to disrupt the space elevator located in the African nation of Kenya.
As the A-LAWS, the Earth's new government military organization, attempts to quell the chaos in South America caused by Celestial Being's actions, the Gundam Meister's next move is already in motion. Setsuna F. Seiei, pilot of the Exia model mobile suit, leads his team in a brazen attack on the Kenyan space elevator.
Meanwhile, tensions are high between Innovators Ribbons Almark and Regene Regetta, with the latter looking to undermine Ribbons' leadership. As the two engage in a philosophical debate, their conversation serves to dive deeper into the themes of human advancement and the role of technology in society that have been present throughout the series.
Back on Earth, Allelujah Haptism and Tieria Erde of Celestial Being discover that the A-LAWS has implemented a new tactic in their fight against the organization. Using an advanced hacking program called "Gaga", A-LAWS is able to create fake altercations between Celestial Being and various nations in order to sway public opinion against them.
As the A-LAWS sends wave after wave of mobile suits to take out the Gundam Meisters, our heroes are forced to confront their own morality and values in order to protect their mission and the people they seek to protect. It's a high-stakes battle of wits and wills that will undoubtedly have consequences for both sides.
