Ep 11. Sister Smackdown

Enter cat behaviorist Jackson Galaxy, who is called in to help resolve the ongoing tensions in the household. Jackson begins his investigation by observing the cats' behavior and interactions with each other, as well as Julie and Scott's relationship with the cats.

Jackson quickly identifies a major source of tension: Julie and Scott's inconsistent and sometimes contradictory behavior towards the cats. Scott is more relaxed and permissive, while Julie tends to be more anxious and controlling. This has caused confusion and mixed signals for the cats, who do not know what behavior is acceptable and what is not.

Jackson also observes that the resource distribution in the house is unequal, with Bear having more access to food, toys, and attention. This has made him more territorial and aggressive towards Jack.

Jackson devises a plan to create a more balanced and structured environment for the cats, with clear boundaries and rules. He advises Julie and Scott to work together and be consistent in their behaviors and reactions towards the cats. He also recommends several ways to address the resource imbalance, such as feeding the cats in separate areas and providing more toys and playtime for Jack.

Over the course of the episode, Jackson works closely with Julie and Scott to implement these changes and monitor the cats' behavior. He teaches them several techniques for redirecting the cats' aggression and improving their bond with each other.
