Ep 9. Athol Family Dream Home

In My Lottery Dream Home season 5 episode 9, entitled "Athol Family Dream Home," we follow David Bromstad as he helps a family of five find their perfect dream home after winning the lottery. The Athol family, who hail from Massachusetts, are eager to use their $1 million lottery win to move out of their current mobile home and into a house they can call their own.

David meets with Craig and Lori Athol and their three children to discuss their preferences and priorities for their new home. They are looking for a property with plenty of space so that their kids can have their own bedrooms and play areas. They also need a large yard for their dog to run around in and for the family to enjoy outdoor activities.

The first house David takes them to see is a spacious two-story home with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The property features a large backyard with a wooden playset for the kids and plenty of space for a pool. The Athols are impressed by the size of the house and can see themselves living there, but they are put off by the lack of privacy due to the close proximity of neighboring houses.

Next, David takes them to see a contemporary-style home that resembles a ski lodge, complete with wooden beams and a stone fireplace. This house has five bedrooms and four bathrooms, as well as a backyard with a volleyball court and a built-in barbecue. The Athols are impressed by the design of the house, but they feel that it is too cold and sterile for their liking.

Finally, David takes the Athols to see a more traditional-style home with six bedrooms and four bathrooms. The house sits on a large plot of land and features a backyard with a pool and a spacious patio area. Although the Athols are initially apprehensive about the size of the house, they are won over by the number of bedrooms and the potential for the entire family to have their own space.

After much deliberation, the Athols decide to make an offer on the traditional-style home. With David's help, they negotiate a lower price than the asking price and secure the house for themselves. Finally, the Athols are able to move out of their cramped mobile home and into a spacious house that they can call their own. They are overjoyed with the result and grateful for the opportunity to live in their dream home.
