In the episode, David travels to Colorado to meet Kareem, a lucky lottery winner who almost discarded his ticket worth almost a million dollars. Kareem went to his local gas station to purchase cigarettes, where he asked for a lottery ticket. The cashier handed him a few, including the lucky one with the winning numbers. Kareem then placed the ticket in his jacket pocket and went about his day, forgetting all about it.
Days later, Kareem's family was cleaning the house when they found the winning ticket, crumpled up in the pocket of his jacket. Kareem was elated to find out he had won and knew that he could finally afford his dream home.
Since his family and he have always wanted to live in the mountains, Kareem and David began their search in the clear Creek county. They toured several cabins with different styles of architecture and found a perfect location with a great view of the surrounding mountains. Although Kareem's budget was significant, David knew that he could negotiate the price down.
Next, David travels to Georgia to meet Elizabeth and Robert, who won $1.6 million dollars on a scratch-off ticket. Like Kareem, the couple almost lost their winning ticket. Robert had placed the ticket in his pocket, which he then put through the washing machine along with his laundry. He found the soaked ticket after going through all his clothes. Luckily, the winning numbers were still legible, and the couple were able to collect their winnings.
David toured several houses with the couple, exploring various neighborhoods with stunning views. They sought to purchase a large home with an impressive outdoor pool, where they could entertain guests and enjoy the warm Georgia weather.
David took the couple to beautiful suburban homes with plenty of amenities and classic southern charm. However, when they stumbled on a gorgeous, modern mansion that the couple had fallen in love with, it was time for David to negotiate the price with the seller. With the couple's budget in mind, David worked his magic and was able to lower the asking price, allowing them to purchase the home.
Finally, in the episode, David travels to Michigan to meet Deborah, a woman who has spent countless years helping and volunteering in her community. She never thought that her gesture of kindness would pay off and land her a lottery win worth almost $300,000. After she visited David at his studio to shop for her dream home, the host made his way to Michigan with her to search for the perfect property.
Deborah's lifelong dream of owning a waterfront property was soon to be a reality, and David made it happen. They toured fabulous lake homes, with several boasting beautiful lawns and picturesque views of the water bodies.
It was essential to Deborah to not only find her dream home but also to find a suitable location to support the charities that she cares about. After a long search, David found a beautiful residence located in a peaceful neighborhood where Deborah could continue her charitable work.
