Ep 15. Something To Live For

Earl Hickey (Jason Lee) has spent his entire life stealing, cheating, lying, and just being an all-around unpleasant person. However, after winning $100,000 in the lottery, Earl decides to turn his life around and make amends for all the bad deeds he's done in the past. In My Name is Earl season 1 episode 15, titled Something To Live For, Earl continues his quest to cross off all the items on his karma list.

Joy tries to lay low and hide out but ends up getting caught anyway. Earl and his friends come to her aid, hiding her from the police and trying to figure out a way to clear her name.

In the end, both Joy and Sweet Johnny are given something to live for, as they each find hope and meaning in their lives. Earl continues his quest to make amends for his past mistakes, knowing that every good deed he does brings him one step closer to redemption.
