As the fourth episode of Naked and Afraid XL season 6 begins, the group of 13 survivalists is feeling the effects of a massive storm that has rocked their camp. Tensions are high and tempers are short as they try to pick up the pieces and rebuild their shelter. The emotional toll of the storm is taking a toll on everyone, and some of the survivalists are struggling to hold it together.
One of the most noticeable effects of the storm is the damage it did to the group's camp. They had built a large shelter out of bamboo and palm fronds, but the heavy winds and rain tore it apart. Now they are left to rebuild, and the process of cutting down bamboo and gathering materials is slow and exhausting work. As they work, the team debates whether they should try to rebuild the same structure or come up with a new plan.
As the day wears on, the group is becoming increasingly frustrated. Some members are complaining that they're not getting enough food, while others are grumbling that they're doing all the work. Everyone seems to be on edge, and it's clear that they need to take a break and regroup before tensions boil over.
To try to alleviate some of the stress, the group decides to go on a fishing expedition. They travel upstream to a nearby river and set up makeshift fishing lines. Some of the survivalists are successful at catching fish, while others come up empty-handed.
However, even this brief respite doesn't seem to have helped much. Back at camp, the group begins arguing over whether they should stick together or branch off into smaller groups. Some feel that they'll be more successful as a team, while others think that they need to go their own way to find food and shelter.
The episode ends with tensions still high and the survivalists struggling to find common ground. As night falls, it's unclear whether they'll be able to work together to survive the harsh jungle conditions or whether they'll continue to splinter apart. The storm may be over, but the turmoil in the group is far from resolved.
