Ep 3. The Movement

Nathan For You is a reality television series on Comedy Central wherein Nathan Fielder assists small businesses in improving their sales and marketing strategies in unconventional ways. In season 3 episode 3 entitled "The Movement," Nathan sets out to help a struggling retail store owner named Larry. Larry's store specializes in discounted clothing, but the problem is, he can't seem to attract customers. Nathan devises a plan to create a "movement" around Larry's store, so that people will recognize the brand and want to shop there.

Nathan starts by brainstorming different ideas with Larry, such as creating a signature dance move that customers can do while wearing the clothes, or staging fake protests outside the store to generate attention. Eventually, they settle on a plan to create a viral video campaign, which will feature Larry doing a series of ridiculous stunts in public places while wearing his store's clothing.

Nathan hires a production team to film the videos, and they set out to shoot footage around the city. In the first clip, Larry is seen riding a bike through a park, wearing nothing but his underwear and one of his store's T-shirts. In the second clip, he's dancing in the middle of a busy intersection, causing a traffic jam. And in the third clip, he's standing on the edge of a tall building, pretending to be a superhero.

The videos are posted online, and soon go viral, with people all over the world sharing and commenting on them. Larry's store starts to gain attention, and people begin to flock to it. Even celebrities start to take notice, with one famous rapper even mentioning Larry's store in one of his songs.

As the episode progresses, Nathan takes the concept of the movement even further, organizing flash mobs and other public events that promote the store. He even creates a fake awards show, where Larry is given a made-up "Lifetime Achievement Award" for his contributions to the world of fashion.

Overall, the episode showcases Nathan's ability to think outside the box and come up with unconventional (and often hilarious) solutions to real business problems. It also demonstrates the power of viral marketing and how a well-executed social media campaign can have a massive impact on a business.
