In "Broken Hearted," the seventh episode of season two of NCIS: New Orleans, the team is called in to investigate the murder of a petty officer and his wife, who were found dead in their home. As the investigation progresses, the team discovers that the couple had been involved in a string of robberies, and that their criminal activity may have ultimately led to their deaths.
As the NCIS team begins to investigate the case, they find themselves with few leads and little evidence. However, they soon discover that the couple's criminal activity may have put them in harm's way, leading them to suspect that the killer may have been someone involved in one of their heists.
Meanwhile, the team is also dealing with some personal drama. LaSalle continues to struggle with the aftermath of his brother's death, while Percy's past comes back to haunt her in the form of an old flame.
As the investigation heats up, the team discovers that the couple's criminal activity was more extensive than they initially thought, and that their motives may have been more complex than they initially suspected. With time running out, they must race to uncover the truth before the killer strikes again.
Along the way, the team must grapple with difficult ethical questions and their personal struggles as they try to solve the case. With its addictive blend of suspense, drama, and action, "Broken Hearted" is sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats from beginning to end.
