In the second episode of Orangutan Jungle School season 1 titled "Movin' On Up," viewers are taken back into the heart of the Jungle School where young orangutans are still learning the skills necessary to survive in the wild. The episode follows two young orangutans, Michael and Meryl, as they prepare to move from Nursery School to Forest School - a rite of passage that marks their first steps towards independence.

As Michael and Meryl bid farewell to the comforts of Nursery School, the in-house vet checks each of the orangutans for any health problems before they are released into the wild. The vet examines them for any signs of malnutrition, infections or other health issues common to orangutans. Meanwhile, their caregiver and Jungle School trainer Beni, helps ease the young primates into their new surroundings and teaches them the basic necessities of life in the wild such as finding food, building nests and socializing with other orangutans.

However, adjusting to a new environment can prove challenging for many young orangutans. For Michael, the adjustment proves much tougher than he anticipated. Struggling with fear and anxiety, Michael spends the first few days clinging to Beni and refusing to leave his side. The trainers at Jungle School make every effort to help Michael adjust to his new surroundings but it's a slow process. Nevertheless, with time Michael starts to build his own nest and even ventures further into the forest. His progress brings great joy and relief to the trainers and other orangutans who have seen him struggle through the transition.

Meryl, on the other hand, seems to take to her new home with ease and enthusiasm. With a curious and mischievous nature, Meryl quickly learns the ropes of life in the forest. She climbs trees, plays games with other orangutans, and even discovers a tasty treat hidden in the forest. Her innate love for exploration and discovery helps her make the most of her new home, and it's evident that she is going to be an incredible and adventurous orangutan.

The episode also introduces another young orangutan - Sandy who has recently arrived at Jungle School from an animal trafficking raid. Sandy arrives at Nursery School in poor physical condition and initially struggles to adjust to the new environment. The Jungle School trainers soon realize that Sandy doesn't know how to climb trees despite being almost two years old - a skill essential to any orangutan who hopes to survive in the wild. The trainers are worried and it's clear that Sandy is going to need more help than most other orangutans. As a result, the trainers come up with a novel solution - they give Sandy a "log ladder" which she can use to climb trees with ease while her arms get stronger.

Overall, the second episode of Orangutan Jungle School is a heartwarming and engaging story of resilience, overcoming fear, and adapting to new environments. Viewers are treated to an exciting adventure in the jungle, which also teaches them about the urgency of preserving and protecting orangutans.
